Nicole Minshew
Physician Assistant, MPAS PA-C
Physician Assistant Nicole Minshew attended and graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry. She received her Masters in Physician Assistant studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 2009.
PA Minshew joined River Park Medical Clinic in 2009 and has been an important part of our clinic abilities to provide important and comprehensive care in Assisted Living and Nursing Home Centers. PA Minshew worked in a nursing home in the past which contributed her desire to become a Physician Assistant in order to provide quality and compassionate care to the elderly population.
PA Minshew enjoys spending her free time with her family and playing golf when her schedule will allow.
Chrissy Hill
Physician Assistant, MPAS PA-C
Physician Assistant Chrissy Hill graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. She received her Master in Physician Assistant studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 2014.
PA Hill worked as a pharmaceutical representative before becoming a Physician Assistant. She had a strong desire to have a more direct relationship with patients and decided to become a primary care Physician Assistant. She feels communication is an important part of medicine and knows it is the key to the preventative side of medicine. PA Hill see patients in the office to help them achieve the goal of staying healthy.
PA Hill enjoys spending her free time with her husband and son. The enjoy playing golf. Their other favorite activities include swimming and going to the Cowboys game.
Kailey Hatfield
Family Nurse Practitioner, FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner Kailey Hatfield graduated from Texas A&M University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Development. She received her Bachelor Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston Texas. She received her Masters of Nursing Practitioner Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2015.
NP Hatfield worked as a nurse at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth before becoming a nurse practitioner. She always enjoyed educating her patients about their disease process while working as a nurse. She enjoyed the prevention part of medicine and always felt good when her patients would tell her later how she helped them feel better through her preventive education with them. She has joined River Park Medical Clinic and will see patients in the office.
NP Hatfield has attended several colleges during her educational process but she will always be an Aggie first. She still attends all the Texas A&M football home games and remains active at the college as a Texas A&M Century Club member. Her family is important to her and she visits her parents in her hometown of Longview Texas on a regular basis.
Thao Nguyen
General Nurse Practitioner, GNP-C
Nurse Practitioner Thao Nguyen graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor Science in Nursing in 2007. She received her Masters of Nursing Practitioner Studies from University of Texas in Arlington in 2014.
NP Nguyen worked as a nurse at Texas Health Hospital before becoming a nurse practitioner. She had a special interest in Geriatrics Medicine and focused her studies as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. She feels strongly about being an advocate for her patients. She has joined River Park Medical Clinic and will see patients in the office, assisted living centers, and nursing homes.
NP Nguyen is an avid runner and enjoys training for marathons. She and her husband have run marathons in many different states. She stays active but she also likes to cook at home and read a good book during her free time.
Melissa Burkett
Family Nurse Practitioner, FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner Melissa Burkett received her Bachelor Science in Nursing from Tarleton State University. She received her Masters of Nursing Practitioner Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington 2017.
NP Burkett worked as a nurse at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth before becoming a nurse practitioner. She was an oncology nurse and had a special interest in helping her patients understand their diagnosis of cancer. She felt that talking to her patients was very important to help them with their anxiety about their cancer diagnosis. She always enjoyed educating her patients about their disease process while working as a nurse. She has joined River Park Medical Clinic and will see patients in the office as well as the nursing homes.
NP Burkett enjoys living in the country so her children can have a lot of land to run around. She and her husband enjoy going to the Dallas Cowboys games and are true fans. She volunteers as a mentor to nurse practitioner students and enjoy teaching them.
Brittany Nye
Physician Assistant, MPAS PA-C
Physician Assistant Brittany Nye graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She received her Master in Physician Assistant studies from the Oklahoma University College of Medicine in 2018.
PA Nye worked as a medical scribe at River Park Medical Clinic before becoming a Physician Assistant. PA Nye enjoyed interacting with the patients and counseling them on living a healthy lifestyle and decided to become a primary care Physician Assistant. She feels communication is an important part of medicine and knows it is the key to the preventative side of medicine. PA Nye is seeing patients in the office as well as the assisted living centers.
PA Nye family live in Fort Worth and she enjoys spending time with them. She has a special interest in CrossFit training. She was a softball athlete in college and still enjoys playing softball.
